- "Why don't you ever want to see me, Max? You're so cute and we never really talk..."
- —Logan to Max
A week prior to the events of October 7, 2013, Logan attacked Luke Parker, a student outside of the "cool kids" clique. He slammed Luke into a locker. At some point in time Logan became romantically (or sexually) involved with Bigfoots cheerleader, Dana Ward. When Dana became pregnant, Logan backed out of their relationship, wanting nothing do with the situation. Prior or following Dana's abortion, Logan wrote a letter to Dana apologizing for his actions.
Max Caulfield spots Logan harassing Daniel DaCosta, a student from Mark Jefferson's classroom, and silently expressed her dislike for him. She wished that she could beat him up for picking on people like Daniel.
On the grounds of the Prescott Dormitory, Max spots Logan playing catch with the team football with Zachary, another player for the Bigfoots. When she approaches him, Logan dismisses her on the assumption that she wanted to take pictures. He told her that she couldn't take any pictures until Friday's football game.
Following her discovery of Dana's home pregnancy test, Max discovers the letter Logan wrote to her apologizing for not being there for her. When Dana clarifies that her aborted child's "deadbeat dad" wasn't Zachary --- whom she was accused of sexting by Juliet Watson (Zachary's girlfriend), Max assumes that she was referring to Logan.
Logan Robertson is a bully in the classic high school sense. He takes particular pleasure in torturing students that he corners or are physically unable to defend themselves against him. Though he is capable of showing concern for people he cares about and admits cowardice on account of not taking responsibility when needed, Logan is largely seen as an unrepentant and unkind person.
