Olivier Derivière is a classically trained French composer. He is best known for his work on Alone in the Dark, ObsCure and recently, Remember Me.[1]

Biography

In 2000, he received a scholarship from Berklee and went to Boston to study jazz and film scoring. He also spent a season with the Boston Symphony Orchestra[2].

In France, Deriviere created compositions for short films and television series. He received positive reviews for his work on ObsCure, which included a collaboration with the child choir Opéra national de Paris; he later produced a score for ObsCure's sequel, ObsCure: The Aftermath, which also received positive feedback. ObsCure's score was performed for the 2nd edition of Games in concert in Amsterdam by the Metropolitan Orchestra. In 2008 he began working on the score for Alone in the Dark[2].
