- "We made this grave for Chloe's kitty. Poor Bongo. He never saw that car coming."
- —Max remembers Bongo
William and Joyce Price brought their daughter, Chloe, a kitten in 1999. He was either named Bongo or the name was given to him by Chloe. Chloe adored her cat Bongo, carrying it about with her when given the chance. Bongo presumably lived a comfortable life with Chloe until his death in 2008. He was killed by a car after running out into the street. With the help of her friend, Max Caulfield, they buried Bongo in the Price family's backyard and commemorated it with a makeshift tombstone inscribed with his name and birth date on it.
During Max's search for tools to fix her broken Polaroid Camera, she investigates the Price's backyard. In the corner near a bush, she spots the grave they made for Bongo and she remembers the day he died.
